I have been in the Film/TV industry for 8 years working on a wide variety of projects for Disney+, Netflix, BBC, ITV & many more. I started in the industry as a Drone Camera Operator & Pilot, and later found my passion in the Camera Department. Since then, I have worked through the Camera Dept' operating as 2nd AC, 1st AC & now Camera/Steadicam Operator & D.O.P.
I have always been fascinated by stable "floating" camera shots that completely immerse you in the story, this led me to specialise in Stabilisation. Here at PixelSky, we offer a range of stabilised solutions including Steadicam M2-Volt, Alta-X (35kg OSC), Inspire 2, Ronin/Movi, Rickshaw & Black Arm.
Owning the equipment in-house has allowed us to expand our expertise & offer the ability to move the camera package from device to device improving on-set efficiency. Knowing that every stabilising device has its own unique learning curves & technical knowledge to adhear to led me to understand that each tool has a mastery & limitations.
With this knowledge we can decide which piece of equipment is right for the shot.
